A NEW ERA BEGINS FOR TOBB'S NEFES LOAN.

Ramazan Özcan, Chairman of the Malatya Commodity Exchange Board of Directors, stated that a new phase has begun in the "Breath Loan" program, spearheaded by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), in cooperation with the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) and banks, to facilitate SMEs' access to financing.

Chairman Özcan noted that this package, implemented during a period marked by high interest rates and cash flow problems in the economy – a major challenge for the business world – will significantly contribute to businesses that provide production and employment.

Özcan stated that the loans, provided through the cooperation of TOBB, KGF, and banks, will have an annual interest rate of 36% for maturities up to 24 months and 34% for maturities exceeding 24 months.

Chairman Özcan added that initially, 25 billion Turkish Lira will be made available under the new TOBB Breath Loan program, with the goal of reaching a loan volume of 100 billion Turkish Lira through additional limits to be opened throughout the year.

Özcan emphasized that every support given in terms of industry, production, exports, and employment is very valuable, and wished the new Breath Loan to be beneficial.

Öncan stated that TOBB Breath Loan applications will begin on Monday, June 8, 2026, and can be made at the branches of Akbank, Denizbank, QNB Bank, Ziraat Bankası, Garanti Bankası, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, and Ziraat Katılım Bankası, and added, “I would like to thank our TOBB President Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the KGF management, the banks participating in the program, and everyone who contributed.”
