LOCAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE AND NEW INCENTIVE SYSTEM EXPLAINED AT MTB.

At a meeting attended by MTB Vice Chairman Erhan Almendi, Sabri Balık, and FKA General Secretary Mehmet Şirin Budancamanak, comprehensive information was shared about the Local Development Initiative Program and the New Incentive System, implemented nationwide by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and encompassing four investment areas for each province.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, MTB Vice Chairman Almendi stated that the new incentive system is an important model designed with a local development perspective, saying, “Supporting each province with investment areas determined according to its own potential will ensure that development is based on a more balanced and sustainable foundation. We believe that this production, employment, and export-oriented approach will directly contribute to the real sector.”

Almendi emphasized that the local development initiative holds significant opportunities for investors and that guiding the business world correctly in this process is of great importance.

FKA General Secretary Budancamanak, in his speech, stated that the Local Development Initiative Incentive Program is an extremely strategic step for our regions to mobilize their own potential. This meeting, hosted by the Malatya Commodity Exchange, has created a strong foundation for coordination between the public sector, private sector, and local stakeholders. As the Fırat Development Agency, our main priority is to implement investments that will increase the production capacity of our region, support value-added sectors, and strengthen employment. We believe that the support provided under this program will make significant contributions to Malatya's agricultural-based industry, food industry, and export-oriented production structure.

We operate with a sustainable and inclusive development approach that centers on local dynamics. In this regard, we will continue to stand by our investors, guide them, and support projects that will increase the competitiveness of our region. I hope that our meeting will pave the way for new investment opportunities for our region, and I thank all stakeholders who contributed.
