MAYOR ÖZCAN'S RAMADAN HOLIDAY GREETING MESSAGE
Mayor Özcan expressed his hope that the Eid al-Fitr would bring peace and tranquility to the whole world, and congratulated the entire Islamic world on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Stating that holidays reflect the deeply rooted values of our nation dating back centuries, President Özcan emphasized that they are the most important periods that strengthen the bonds of love, tolerance, and brotherhood, and noted the following in his message:
"Holidays are not only the most beautiful manifestation of joy and happiness, but also of sharing, compassion, solidarity, and social peace. These blessed days offer us the opportunity to keep alive the ancient values inherited from our ancestors, to pass them on to future generations, and to set an example for humanity.
We are representatives of a deeply rooted civilization that has stood by the oppressed, comforted orphans, and cared for the poor throughout history. Ramadan Bayram, with this understanding, is a time when we do not leave the lonely alone, when we give hope to those in need, and when we conquer hearts. In this context, our holidays are the most meaningful moments when hearts unite, grudges end, brotherhood is strengthened, and the spirit of unity reaches its peak.
The chaos and war in our region and in various parts of the world deeply affect us all, and these blessed days are a time for all humanity to find peace." I hope that this will also be an occasion for the end of wars and the cessation of tears.
In such a period, I pray to Almighty God that our national unity and brotherhood will be further strengthened, adding strength to our country.
An environment where peace and stability are strengthened is the strongest guarantee of production, trade, and economic development. As the business community, we will continue to work resolutely for the prosperity and well-being of our country.
I wish that the Eid al-Fitr will be an occasion for strengthening the feelings of brotherhood of the entire Islamic world and our beloved nation, and I congratulate our members, our fellow citizens, our nation, our heartland, and the entire Islamic world on the blessed Eid al-Fitr.”
