MAYOR ÖZCAN'S MESSAGE FOR 'MARCH 8TH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY'

Ramazan Özcan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Malatya Commodity Exchange (MTB), issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8.

Highlighting the importance of the role women play in all areas of social life, Mayor Özcan included the following statements in his message:
“Women are the cornerstone of the family, the architects of society, and the most important elements of civilization. Throughout history, the value given to women has been one of the most important indicators of the level of development of civilizations. In Anatolia's deep-rooted production and sharing culture, women's labor has always held an important place; our women have made significant contributions in many areas, from production to trade, from social life to economic development. Today, our women have shown the whole world what they can achieve when given the opportunity, in every field from business life to art, from sports to politics.

As a nation, we are members of a sublime religion that sees paradise under the feet of mothers and women as a trust from God, and we are representatives of an ancient civilization. In every period of our deep-rooted past, our women have been held in high esteem and considered the cornerstone of the family and society. With this understanding, ensuring that our women take a greater role in social, economic, and cultural life is our shared responsibility.

The active participation of women in all areas of life..." Their achievements are a gain not only for their own future but for society as a whole. Strong women are the foundation of strong families; strong families are the foundation of strong societies. Therefore, it is of great importance that our women are supported in every field, from education to business life, from art to politics, and that the obstacles in their way are removed.”

As the Malatya Commodity Exchange, supporting the entrepreneurial spirit of our women, contributing to their education, and empowering them in every field are among our primary goals.

With these feelings and thoughts, I sincerely congratulate all our women, especially the mothers of martyrs and the devoted wives of our veterans, on March 8th, International Women's Day, and wish them lifelong happiness, health, and success.”
