REGULATIONS REGARDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EMPLOYMENT PROTECTION SUPPORT PROGRAM.

According to a letter received from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), support will be provided to protect and increase employment in manufacturing industry sectors within the scope of the "Regulation on the Implementation of the Employment Protection Support Program" published in the Official Gazette dated March 3, 2026, and numbered 33185.

In this context, regardless of business size, manufacturing industry businesses operating under NACE Code Section C, specifically those with activity codes 13- Manufacturing of Textile Products, 14- Manufacturing of Clothing, 15- Manufacturing of Leather and Related Products, 31- Manufacturing of Furniture, and 32.99.02- Manufacturing of denim and similar printed buttons, snaps, buttons, zippers and similar items, that maintain their employment levels will receive support of up to 3,500 TL per month for up to 30 premium days for the period they maintain employment.

It has been stated that credit and interest support will be applied to manufacturing industry businesses with SME status that do not fall under these codes and that maintain their employment. Applications for SMEs should be submitted to KOSGEB, and for large-scale businesses to the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Within the framework of the program, businesses within the SME category can apply to KOSGEB between March 3 and April 30, 2026. Information and application forms can be accessed on KOSGEB's website. Large-scale businesses will submit their applications to the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Furthermore, businesses must submit their payment requests under the Employment Protection Support Program no later than March 31, 2027.
