The Ministry of Trade has issued a notification regarding listing posts shared on social media platforms by authorized businesses engaged in the trade of real estate and motor vehicles.

For listings posted in the digital environment—including on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp—it is mandatory to share a link to the listing that has been verified via the Electronic Listing Verification System (EİDS).

Provided they relate to the real estate or vehicle subject to the EİDS-verified listing, social media posts may include listing visuals (such as photos and videos) and descriptions (including price information).

It has been announced that administrative fines of up to 286,206 TL may be imposed for each instance of non-compliance with the specified requirements.
